FPS Warrior Bundle offers some seriously mixed quality for £2.25

Stop! Hammer time.

Bundle Stars have released a bundle of six games for £2.25 (or $2.99, if you prefer)! And they’re all FPS games! And they’re all really good! That last sentence was a lie.

In fairness, some of them aren’t half bad. The Ship is an online murder game in which you hunt a particular target around a luxury cruise liner, while being hunted by someone else, and the version included here – the Complete Pack – also offers you a single-player mode and two activation keys to give to friends. Shattered Horizon is a rather pretty zero-gravity multiplayer shooter. Section 8 is a reasonably entertaining objective-based sci-fi multiplayer wossname, although I kinda doubt anyone will be playing it anymore, and Section 8: Prejudice was a billion times better.

Then there’s the rest. Dino D-Day is a rather average multiplayer shooter that combines dinosaurs and World War II. Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a wholly disappointing game that is ostensibly about sniping and is completely ruined by rubbish stealth, run-and-gun sections, and psychic enemies. Legendary is unspeakably shit.

Still, as with most bundles, as value for money goes it’s not too bad. The Ship is easily the stand-out there, and if you really want to see how bad Legendary and Sniper: Ghost Warrior are this is about the cheapest you’re likely to find them.
