The famously turn-based serious Jagged Alliance will be getting Back in Action on the PC later this year. Here’s a CGI teaser showing you how the game won’t look.
Still, the smirk on the bearded, beret-toting mercenary at the end of the video is worth a watch.
Jagged Alliance: Back in Action is promising an RTS/Turn-based combo control system called “plan & go” (hopefully a bit like the one found in Frozen Synapse). You’ll take command of groups of rebels and mercenaries, attempting to topple a dastardly dictator in the totally make-believe country of Arulco.
“RPG-like” character advancement and the need to balance resources effectively are also in the mix.
