Karma Online open beta launched today

World War II online shooter enters public beta phase, ends 16 August.
Joymax have today launched the open beta for its upcoming online WWII shooter, Karma Online: Prisoners of the Dead. The beta will run through to Tuesday 16 August, 2011.
Our own Tim McDonald got hands-on with the closed beta not too long ago. You can read his impressions here.
The beta features ten maps and two characters that have not been playable up until now, Gunther and Karl. Gunther is the son of a German army officer whose (and I quote from the press release) “facial expressions and gestures show his pride as a member SS Fallschirmjager.” Karl is a descendant of a noble Germany house who graduated from the military academy with “excellent records” and has an “holier-than-thou attitude.”
Holier-than-thou attitudes and prideful facial expression… great?
“Karma Online’s popularity has continued to grow in recent months, and we are so excited for the continued momentum and interest in our game,” said Joymax CEO, Nam-chul Kim.
“We are very confident with the stability we have seen during the beta phase and with the official launch of the cash shop following soon after the open beta testing ends, we are looking forward to players experiencing a seamless gaming experience.”
You can sign up for the beta here.
