Arrowhead insist Magicka had to go to ‘nam

Magicka: Vietnam launched this week, adding an usually themed scenario and survival map to the already somewhat offbeat game. Arrowhead games explain why the wizards had to go to ‘nam.
Magicka creator Johan Pilestedt keeps a straight face as he talks about equipping wizards with M60s, trying to add surf boards to the expansion and how Communism must be defeated.

It’s the kind of humour which filters through to the Magicka title, and why the trailer for this new expansion featured nods to both Cannon Fodder and Rambo.
