Darkspore Delayed, Open Beta Set For April

Darkspore, Maxis’ creature-customising planet-crawler, has been delayed by around a month to late April. However, the developer has also confirmed an open beta for that month.
The title will now be released on 26 April in the US and 28 April in Europe, rather than the late-March date previously reported.
In addition to this news, Destructoid carries a quote from an EA spokesperson which states: “Given the positive response and feedback received over the course of the Darkspore closed beta, an open beta will be available in April.”
I played one of those closed beta sessions a couple of weeks back. Have a read of my thoughts about the game, here.
