PC Bulletstorm Demo In The Works

It’s the demo PC users didn’t think they’d see, but Epic’s Mark Rein casually mentioned on Friday that a Bulletstorm demo for the formerly beige boxes is in the works.
“Bulletstorm PC demo is in the works!” Rein wrote in a twitter post,“Won’t make it in time for ship date but should be available shortly after.” This puts the release sometime after 22 February.
It also means Epic/People Can Fly were probably planning a PC demo all along and used the lack of it to whip up a little extra coverage in the gaming press. Damn you Rein, you played us for suckers once again.
Luckily (unluckily,) Bulletstorm will still be using Games For Windows Live, so PC users still have a legitimate reason to be miffed about something. Phew.
In other Bulletstorm media news, RockPaperShotgun has written a splendid rebuttal to the latest attempt by fringe right-wing website Fox News to smear videogames and all who play them.
