Port Royale 3 embarks for teaser trailer island

Kalypso has released a new teaser trailer for Caribbean-based trading title, Port Royale 3.
Set in the 17th century, players will take the role of one of the major naval powers of the period (England, Spain, France or Holland) and, err, see who can exploit the colonies the best. That’s not exactly an enviable goal, but it will bring your captain fame and glory.
Anyway, it’ll be all about establishing (and protecting) trade routes, naval battles, coastal sieges, raiding and plundering. Hurrah.
The trailer (below) shows a couple of boats engaging in some of the above.
Port Royale 3 will be coming to the PC somewhere between March and June of 2012.
