THQ files yearly net loss of $136 million USD

The THQ full-year fiscal report was published today, revealing that the company had a net loss of $136 million USD for 2010-2011.
This loss comes despite strong showings for several of the publishers titles. THQ shifted 4 million copies of the WWE titles Smackdown vs Raw 2011 and WWE Allstars, as well as 3 million copies of UFC Undisputed 2010.
The company also reported sales of 2.6 million for Homefront, but as that title needed to sell around 2 million just to break even, THQ effectively only turned a profit on sales of 0.6 million.

THQ has not reported a net profit since the fiscal year ending 31 March 2007, when it posted a net income of $68 million USD.
For the past four years, the company has reported net losses of varying sizes totalling over $600 million USD. For fiscal year 2010, that net loss was $9 million. In 2009 it was a massive $431 million, and in 2008 the company reported a loss of $35 million.
