DX11 patch on the way for Crysis 2

PC owners of both Crysis 2 and a graphics card that needs a separate cooling plant to run properly may be pleased to learn that DX11 patch for the game is on the way.
Crytek have announced the news on their official forums, cheerily declaring “We would like to announce that there will be a DX11 patch released for Crysis 2.” Fearing they may have revealed too much, too soon with this, they quickly retreat behind vague feature promises, saying; “We are working to get the best out of DX11, so we’ll wait to announce the features until a little closer to release.”

It’s probably fair to speculate that the patch will spruce up the graphics a bit. I’d use the word ‘occlusion’ now, if only I knew what it meant.
John reviewed the Xbox 360 version of Crysis 2 just recently, so why not have a read of how he found the game.
