Jagex developing Transformers MMO

Jagex, the team behind free-to-play MMO Runescape, sign deal with Hasbro to develop Transformers MMO. Set for release in 2012.
No word on what exactly the game will entail other than Jagex’s promise to “deliver a dynamic and action-packed game”. Given Runescape’s success as a free-to-play title, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if ‘Transformers The MMO’ goes down the same route.
As part of the announcement, Mark Gerhard, CEO at Jagex Games Studio stated that “There is a huge appetite for an online TRANSFORMERS game and we will utilize every bit of our development and publishing expertise to deliver a dynamic and action-packed game that TRANSFORMERS fans will find irresistible.”
