Government Respond To ‘Buggy’ Black Ops Complaint

Lobbyist group Gamers’ Voice has told IncGamers it has received a ‘promising’ response from the Office of Fair Trading following its well publicised Black Ops complaint.
The organisation sent a letter to the government department after being ‘inundated’ with complaints over the buggy versions of Black Ops on PS3 and PC.
The group state that the response to its complaint, which the OFT has now passed on to its ‘preliminary investigations team to consider’, is promising as ‘it implies the OFT do believe it to be worthy of their time’.
Chris O’Regan, head of industry relations at Gamers’ Voice, told IncGamers today: “The OFT have now responded to our complaint by advising us that they have passed it on to their Preliminary Investigations team to consider.  They promise to write back to Gamers’ Voice as soon as possible.
“We at Gamers’ Voice are emboldened by this letter as it implies the OFT do believe it to be worthy of their time.  We won’t know for sure until they write back to us though.”
