RIFT Invades Team Fortress 2

TRION’s MMO is about to invade the world of Team Fortress 2. Steam customers who pre-order RIFT by 4 March will receive two exclusive, melee weapons in Team Fortress 2, the “Sharpened Volcano Fragment” and “Sun-on-a-stick.” 

Valve will also be adding a new permanent achievement called Riftwalker to TF2 that grants a redeemable code for an exclusive headpiece in  RIFT called the “Well Spun Hat”. TF2 players can start receiving the melee weapons from today. Players who complete the Riftwalker achievement can apply the code to their TRION account page and the hat will appear in their in-game mailbox during the headstart period which begins 24 February.

All Steam pre-order customers will receive the weapons, including those who’ve already purchased Rift through the digital platform. This offer is available to Steam users worldwide.
