Second Darkspore open beta runs until 22 April

EA and Maxis have announced a second open beta session for Darkspore, beginning now and running until 22 April.
This time, players will be able to make their way through 12 levels and reach a level cap of 15. While the first open beta required Steam, this time you’re free to either use that or download the rather massive 5.2GB client from the Darkspore site itself.

The full version of Darkspore is set for PC release on 26 April.
Have a read of my preview, written during an earlier closed beta session, which details the squad-based sci-fi RPG in full.
