Activision Sues EA For $400 Million

Activision has issued a $400 million dollar lawsuit against Electronic Arts in an ongoing battle between it and two former executives.
The story began when Jason West and Vince Zampella sued Activision for $36 million back in March, claiming Activision fired them to avoid paying them royalties for their work on the Call of Duty franchise.
Now the publisher alleges EA sent a private jet to Southern California to take West and Zampella to a secret meeting with EA’s John Riccitiello.
The pair then formed Respawn Entertainment, hiring about 40 employees away from Activision. Respawn confirmed in April it will create games exclusively for release by EA.
