Sometimes we make mistakes. I made one back in September when I speculated about Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW no longer coming to the PC. This was based on the fact that all mention of a PC release had been dropped from PR materials and even Namco Bandai (owners of the Adventure Time publisher D3) couldn’t tell me whether it existed.
Not necessarily poor reasoning on my part, but incorrect nonetheless as Adventure Time: EtDBIDK has now popped up on Steam as a thing people can pre-order. It’s looking like a Gauntlet-style slash ’em up with added Adventure Time jokes and characters, and costs $40.00 USD. In many ways that seems expensive, but I’m finding it hard to think critically about a title that lists “sack of butter” as a featured weapon.
Adventure Time: EtDBIDK is due on 19 November. Sorry for saying you didn’t exist, PC version!
