Assassin’s Creed: Revelations tours Constantinople

People familiar with the Assassin’s Creed series know that the human protagonists aren’t necessarily the real stars. That mantle falls on the cities, which tend to be rather splendidly recreated by Ubisoft. So it’s only right and proper that the latest Assassin’s Creed: Revelations footage shows us how Constantinople will look in the game.
The video is ‘narrated’ by Prince Suleiman (later, in actual real history, to be known by the rather amazing title “His Imperial Majesty Grand Sultan, Commander of the Faithful and Successor of the Prophet of the Lord of the Universe”). By the looks of things, Ezio will be helping Suleiman achieve his destiny (either by accident or design).
After getting pretty familiar with Italy in the last two games, a trip to the Ottoman Empire (complete with different cultures and a totally different ‘feel’) should make a nice change. We’ll find out, when Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is released later this month on Xbox 360 and PS3 (PC users will have to wait a bit longer).
