TRION is opening up their alpha test for Atlas Reactor this weekend, starting this Thursday, 31 March.

This open alpha test for the the turn-based strategy, which they describe as a cross between DOTA and XCOM, will be a final chance to check the game out before the start of a close beta which they say will start “very soon”.
In this alpha test, players will be able to try “several new elements and improvements” as well as a new character called Oz, When the closed beta starts, TRION will be rolling out new features including new freelancers and a missions system. Further details of the closed beta are expected in the days ahead.
