Ban hammer falls on more Diablo3 players

Blizzard has revealed that an unspecified amount of Diablo 3 players have been banned from the game  for using exploits.

As with all Blizzard banning announcements they were not too specific in the details for obvious reasons. However, they did say that it involved players zooming out and killing monsters that were beyond the normal range that the game’s AI is triggered.

A Chinese utility called the Douwan Magic Box. which was available from a Chinse site called Douwan, could have been the culprit as it allowed players took look beyond the normal view range which would tie-in with Blizzard’s comments above.
