Beenox reveal Spider-Man: Edge of Time

Marvel, Activision and Beenox have all taken time out of their busy days to announce a new Spider-Man title – Edge of Time.
Beenox, of course, developed the previous Spider-Man title, Shattered Dimensions, and it seems as though this new game will grabbing the space-time continuum and waggling it around a little too. According to the somewhat frugal press release we can expect, “all-new ’cause-and-effect’ gameplay, where players will see how the immediate and sometimes unexpected effects of their actions as one Spider-Man changes the timeline of the other Spider-Man.”
Players will be controlling both classic Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099, attempting to prevent Peter Parker from snuffing it.
The previous Beenox Spider-Man title came out on all kinds of different platforms, so although none have yet been officially confirmed it seems safe to suggest that Edge of Time will at least appear on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Probably. The title will be released this autumn.
