Behaviour Interactive has announced a… Dead by Daylight dating sim (no, really)

Blood on the sands.
Behaviour Hooked On You A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim Revealed

Welcome to the most confusing Tuesday of your life. Earlier, Behaviour Interactive unveiled a dating sim spin-off of its asymmetric multiplayer horror game, Dead by Daylight. No, it’s true. You’re not being punked. Or, I don’t think you are. Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim is a thing that exists now, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim answers the question no one dared ask: what if you can go on a beach date with that hunky Trapper? Well, you’ll know for sure when the game arrives this summer on Steam. Hooked on You features not just that sexy beefcake, but three other butchers of the beach: the Huntress, the Wraith, and the Spirit. No matter your taste in terrifying killers, there’s nothing to stop you on the path to true love.

“Flirt with 4 completely different, yet equally tantalizing Dead by Daylight Killers,” reads the game’s description on its attractive website. “Choose the right words to help them shed their inhibitions, while unlocking deeply intimate sides of their personalities. How you play can earn you multiple unique endings for each Killer, from passionate true love, to platonic friendship, to bitter loathing. Just like real dating!”

Is it getting warm in this abandoned shack, or is it just me?

Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim is certainly a lot to take in, but it makes more sense when considering the dev team. The game is being made by Psyop, a studio you may recall bringing us the officially licensed KFC dating simulator back in 2019. Who knew fried chicken could get so hot? Psyop has clearly found its niche, which is making dating sims based on the most outlandish concepts. What’s next? Pet rocks? Wolfenstein? Don’t give those Resident Evil Village fans any ideas.
