Believe it: Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst coming to PC

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst

The PC is getting a contender for Longest Game Name in the World with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, which – as far as I’m aware – also marks the first time this particular franchise has hit desktop computers.

This is an enhanced edition of the version that hit consoles back in March, and just about anything I can say about it will count as spoilers for the series that’s been running, unabated, for 14 bloody years. What I can say is that this enhanced version contains an extra chapter, a new playable character (a powered-up Kabuto, apparently), revamped cinematics, 100 new missions, and 38 extra costumes.

In terms of random words that might count as spoilers but will make literally no sense to anyone who hasn’t been paying attention anyway: 4th Great Ninja War, Madara, Jinchuriki, forbidden jutsu, Sasuke, Nine-Tails, blah blah blah blah blah.

It’s due out this winter, and as there don’t appear to be any assets just yet, the screenshot above is from March’s console version.

i bet a bloody port but DMC3 style….which is not something you want.

We’ll see, I guess. Namco Bandai have a mixed track record with ports, but I guess that might just be down to the developers – Dark Souls was a cack port, but Ace Combat was fine. Star Trek was naff, but Ridge Racer Unbounded was okay. Etc. I’ll be vaguely keeping a eye on it, at least.

That said: even if it IS a solid port, I can’t imagine it’ll be much fun to play without a gamepad.

Who plays PC games with a keyboard nowadays? There’s hundreds of excelent USB-PC-joysticks flooding the market (even perfect clones of PS3 or XBOX360 pads)

Depends on the game, really! But yes, things like this don’t tend to work well without gamepads.

          uhmm, what?
i always play with keyboard, it’s a perfectly fine way to play and sometimes even a better responding piece of gear.
it doesn’t have a fine tuned joystick attached to it but in fighting games, do you really need to slowly walk to your enemy and precisely attack only that specific spot…..not really.

As long as I can connect a gamepad and play it normally then its all right. These types of games arent fit for Keyboard + Mouse anyway, just like Dark Souls.
