The Bioshock movie has been moving slower than a hippie on washing day, and now it’s taken another turn for the worse as director Juan Carlor Fresnadillo is “completely out”.
“To be honest, by now, I’m completely out of that, and developing other stuff. Right now it’s on hold. The studio and the videogame company, they have to reach some kind of agreement about the budget and the rating,” said Fresnadillo.
If you ask me, given how long it’s already been in limbo, the movie is looking like it could be cancelled at any moment.
The warnings signs have been coming for a while, not least when original director Gore Verbinski decided to step away from the role and instead produce the movie.
Of course, the one thing that could save the movie is if Bioshock Infinite sales a crapload of copies and Hollywood start to get interested again.
