The Black Desert Online Margoria expansion has been given a release date of 25 January, and will be free to existing players. It’s a watery, naval-focused addition that’ll bring treasure-filled undersea areas to the game.

As well as that, there’ll be underwater monster hunting, ship construction, more than 100 new quests, and guild versus guild naval combat. That latter feature is billed as the best way to establish yourself as the dominant trade-route power.
