Start rejoicing Blizzard fans as BlizzCon 2014 has been announced and tickets will be going on sale soon. One again the event will take place in November, the 7 – 8 November to be precise and it promises to be a celebration of everything Blizzard. The Anaheim Convention Center is the venue as always.

Like every year, tickets will go on sale in advance and the date to mark in your diaries is 7-10 May. That’s the day when your keyboard gets horribly broken as you try to keep refreshing the BlizzCon ticket ordering page.

It’s a pricey affair coming in at $177 + taxes which takes it to a nice round $199. If you’re a die hard Blizzard fan then it’s not to be missed regardless of price.

If you’re stuck on the other side of the planet and can;t make it to California then there’s always the option to watch it live through a virtual ticket. No prices for those have yet been revealed.

This year I suspect there will be a lot of World of Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm being promoted so it may not be so exciting for Diablo gamers. Unless they announce another expansion of course, but that’s wishful thinking.

If you’re tempted, head to the BlizzCon site and get it bookmarked ahead of time before those tickets go on sale.
