Cyandide’s Blood Bowl 2 was expected to release this month but has been pushed back to 22 September.

The reason for the delay is the usual “ensure that players would enjoy the most polished foundations” reason. With any luck, extra development time will give this Blood Bowl a chance.
Because the game has been delayed Cyanide are going to offer an extra race, the Lizardmen or the Wood Elves, as part of their pre-order campaign. There will be a multiplayer beta demo availableĀ on Steam a few weeks before the full game release too, so players can hopefully get a good idea whether it’s worth their cash.
