Bulletstorm Reveal Delayed By Volcano

Bulletstorm’s reveal has been delayed due to the ongoing chaos caused by the Icelandic volcano eruptions.Going by Fidgit (via 1UP), Electronic Arts has delayed the full reveal of People Can Fly’s forthcoming shooter Bulletstorm due to the eruption of the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull.Eyjafjallajökull, which I never want to type again and will instead refer to as “Funcom’s doomsday weapon,” has pretty much grounded planes for the last week due to the amount of volcanic ash in the air and the threat this poses to planes.Despite the fact that Funcom’s doomsday weapon appears to be settling down, there are reports that its eruption might trigger an eruption from neighbouring volcano Katla – as has happened before – which is bigger and stronger.Bulletstorm is the forthcoming shooter from People Can Fly, Epic Games, and Electronic Arts. Players are cast as Dead Echo members Grayson Hunt and Ishi Sato, betrayed by their commander and exiled to the far reaches of the galaxy. Fending off mutants and cannibals, the pair have to survive long enough to get off the planet and exact revenge.Read up on Bulletstorm and the reasons why the triumverate of companies think it’ll be a top-notch shooter here.Expect Bulletstorm on PC, 360, and PS3 next year.
