Capcom, Codemasters, Konami and Namco Bandai get set to join GAMEfest…

GAME, the UK’s leading games retailer and organisers of the UK’s newest consumer gaming show GAMEfest, is delighted to announce the addition of four more publishers, Capcom, Codemasters, Konami and Namco Bandai to the lineup of this year’s ultimate gaming event.
 
Each publisher is set to showcase their most hotly anticipated titles of 2011 to GAMEfest customers, who will be getting hands on game play before anyone else in the country across an incredible 15 fantastic titles.
 
Publisher Capcom will be showing a total of five new releases at the event, from the newest version of their 2D fighting game Street Fighter X Tekken to the third person shooter game, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which along with Dragon’s Dogma and Asura’s Wrath, will all be making its exclusive UK debut at GAMEfest.
 
Warwickshire based Codemasters will be putting gamers driving skills to the test with the newest version of their fast paced Formula One game – F1 2011. Using Codemasters’ EGO Technology Platform, the game is set to deliver the ultimate F1 experience. New circuits and cinematics feature in the title, which F1 supporters and gamers will be able to enjoy at GAMEfest.
 
For football gaming fans, Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 will be available for fans to get stuck into at GAMEfest. This game, the 11th edition of the Pro Evolution Soccer series has incredible visuals that make it a more realistic experience than ever before. Konami will also be showing the eagerly awaited Silent Hill Downpour, the eighth installment in the Silent Hill series which will be a sure fire hit with fans of horror games.
 
Amongst the titles Namco Bandai will be bringing to GAMEfest is the newest action-adventure game Dark Souls, the spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls. In addition, racing game Ridge Racer: Unbounded and third person shooter title Inversion will also be available to play.
 
The arrival of these legendary game publishers adds to the already long list of gaming heavyweights including EA, Nintendo, and Activision that will be showcasing some of the most hotly awaited games of the year at GAMEfest.
 
GAMEfest will run from the 16-18 September 2011 at the Birmingham NEC with tickets available online on the GAME website and in any GAME store.
