Capcom has just confirmed to IncGamers that a version of Lost Planet 2 will be released on the PC.

This might come as a surprise to some, especially for those who expected the title to be a 360 exclusive as previous reports suggested.

Lost Planet 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to, you guessed it, Lost Planet.  Speaking about the game in the office, and having a look at the trailers kicking about, we’re looking forward to getting our hands on some more colonising, mech/robot-fuelled action.

And “it looks amazing,” says our very own Andy Alderson.

Although there is no word yet on whether it’ll appear on the PS3, we expect some kind of Sony announcement after the game’s released on the Microsoft platforms.
