Carmageddon Reincarnation ploughs into Kickstarter target

Stainless Games’ attempt to bring back the much-remembered Carmageddon series is accelerating towards reality, as the Kickstarter fund to finance the game has met its target. In fact, it’s ploughed right through the target and, with another nine days to go, is now rounding on a few more thousand dollars.
Carmageddon Reincarnation was aiming for $400,000 USD and now has around $430,000 to play with from more than 11,000 backers. “We’re so thankful to you ALL.” says ‘nobby’ of Stainless in the latest update.
Thanks to the funding target being met, the game is scheduled for a PC release in February 2013. Read about a few more of the Kickstarter projects which excite us here at IncGamers in this article.
