Chasing phantoms: Next Call of Duty is probably subtitled ‘Ghosts’

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Videogaming’s premier site for uncovering secret Call of Duty information, Tesco.com, has struck again with … wait, Tesco? Well ok then. The supermarket site had apparently listed (now removed) versions of Call of Duty: Ghosts for both Xbox 360 and PS3 (not PC, but I wouldn’t read too much into that,) which were spotted by sniper-eyed fellows at CharlieIntel.

According to Activis … ok according to my imagination, the game will cast the players in the role of ghosts who are haunting the company of soldiers who allowed them die in battle. Your overall mission is to raise the “PTSD” meter on each soldier until they go to see a medical professional. Be careful though, because if you raise that meter too fast the soldier may commit suicide.

If only that were really the case, eh?

No, the truth is all we know is that the name is probably Call of Duty: Ghosts and it has a dude wearing camouflage on the cover. Unless that, like the price and release date, is a placeholder too. In which case we don’t even know that.
