Cities: Skylines Art Deco DLC coming next week

Paradox and Colossal Order have teamed up with Cities: Skylines modder Matt “Shroomblaze” Crux for an upcoming Art Deco building pack DLC. Due “next week” and priced at $5.00, the Art Deco pack will feature a selection of Crux’s designs (renders of a few can be seen below).

This will be the first in a series of DLC packs for Cities: Skylines featuring the work of modders. Everybody featured will receive an up-front payment from Paradox for production costs and an (unspecified, but presumably fair since Crux agreed to it) revenue cut from sales.

“After over 3,400 hours in Cities: Skylines, it’s wonderful to have my own buildings become part of the game’s landscape,” says Crux “I made the [Art Deco] suggestion to Paradox Interactive and they allowed me to come up with the buildings of my choice. I’m eager to see what the rest of the community thinks of them.”
