We reported a few days ago that the community driven superhero MMO City of Titans, previously The Phoenix Project, was about to launch. Today the Kickstarter went live.
The development team are looking to raise $320,000 USD and in the few hours it’s been online they have already secured $76,501 with 32 days to go.
It’s not been easy for Missing Worlds Media to bring this project together and it’s worth reading the page, it’s pretty detailed. I know from talking to them that getting to this stage was a real challenge.
The good news is that a spiritual successor to the now gone but not forgotten City of Heroes is another step closer to being a real game.
