There’ll hopefully be a fair bit more to come from Civilization: Beyond Earth at this year’s E3, but here’s a warm up of some screenshots and concept art. Firaxis’ definitely-not-an-Alpha Centauri-sequel is going to be one of the few PC exclusives to watch for at the event.
The screenshots don’t exactly reveal much we don’t already know about the strategic planetary colonisation title, but does feature some lovely hexes, a look at some expanding cities and a few military encounters with local alien wildlife. There’s also a bit of concept art depicting the faction leaders from Earth who you can fall in with to sponsor your expeditions.
Civilization: Beyond Earth is coming to the PC later this year. Probably in that ever-popular October-November slot.
