Company Of Heroes Online To Close 31 March

The Company of Heroes Online open beta will end on 31 March, according to a news post at the game’s official website.
There’s an air of additional finality to the posting, which informs everyone who is currently playing that they should redeem any purchased COHO cash before 31 March. No refunds are being offered, so you’ll have to just spend it in-game. Something called “COHO Cash Card redemptions” are being honoured until 1 March.
With regard to the game being given an eventual full retail release, the FAQ about the beta closure merely states “We are still working on our plans for the Company of Heroes franchise and are not ready to discuss details yet. We will be leveraging all the data and feedback the Company of Heroes Online Beta generated.”
As a thank you gift to those who participated in the beta, Relic is offering copies of Company of Heroes Gold Edition via the THQ online store for just $5.00 USD (it’s not clear if this offer is also open to those outside the US.)
