Crusader Kings 2’s Horse Lords steppe out on 14 July

Horse Lords, the next expansion for the ever-expanding Crusader Kings 2, has been given a release date of 14 July. As you can probably guess from the name, this one has a direct focus on the “Mongol and Turkic invaders of the Central Asian plains.”

Those who steppe up to play this will find a new expanded map and new ruling mechanics for the nomadic horse tribes. In addition to that, Horse Lords will introduce the Silk Road trade route to Crusader Kings 2 (something everybody can benefit from,) and allow the creation of temporary forts in recently taken territories.
