Fancy being a big player in a major European medieval power for, ooh, let’s say 20 years or so? Well good news, the Crusader Kings II demo released over the weekend will pretty much let you do just that. Four characters will be at your disposal, with all single player capabilities on offer for a 20 year span.
Those characters are: Boleslaw II Piast, known variously as the Generous, the Bold or the Cruel (charming), Duchess Matilda I, the strongest Italian vassal of the Holy Roman Empire, Duke Vratislav II of Bohemia, and Doux Michael Doukas, heir apparent to the throne of the Byzantine Empire.
