Paradox has released two new Crusader Kings II videos; an overview of the game’s features and project lead Henrik “Doomdark” Fåhraeus discussing the title.
As is mentioned in the latter video, Crusader Kings differs from other Paradox ‘grand strategy’ titles in that you control an actual person, rather than the vague ‘spirit’ of a country. As a result, it’s vital to make sure that your family dynasty remains strong and that issues relating to succession don’t flare up when the current head of the family dies (sparking a war of control.)
The title is all about the inter-relating politics of the characters of the era. Each wrestling for his or her own slice of power in medieval Europe (the game spans a time period from 1066 to the late 1400s and the fall of Constantinople.)
Watch the videos below for more details and, oddly enough, tips on marrying Swedish women.
