Cryptic Studios has shone the spotlight on Champions Online’s new executive producer, Shannon “Poz” Posniewski.

Last week it emerged that Bill Roper has moved onto other things within Cryptic Studios, so to introduce the new man in charge, Cryptic has posted a Q&A on the official Champions site.

In it, we find out exactly what Posniewski’s role is within the game – he’s basically responsible for the game as a whole – how long he’s been working on it, and what he did before Champions came along. He talks about the games he played growing up and some fairly random stuff too.

Finally, he gives advice to anyone wanting to get into the gaming industry:

“For all candidates, a deep interest in games and gaming in general is useful. Not just computer games, but all kinds of games. Be conversant in gaming as a general subject.”
