Crysis 3’s interactive trailer gives you a choice

The choice is “violent, or slightly less violent?”, which Crytek have chosen to characterise as ‘armoured’ and ‘stealth’. This is a bit odd because the ‘stealth’ option includes almost as much killing of hapless soldiers as the ‘guns blazing’ one, it’s just that the player employs the cloaking feature a little bit more often.

The gap in play style may not exactly be a gulf, but the footage does give you a good look at the single player side of Crysis 3 and what it’s aiming to do with its level design.

Crysis 3 is due next February for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
