Developer Xaviant, creators of Lichdom: Battlemage, are working on a new game called The Culling.
This is a game where up to sixteen players will find themselves on a remote island battling against each other for survival. All the typical survival elements are included such as scavenging items, crafting weapons, and trap building to take down down the other players.
According to Xaviant this game will redefine the “battle royale genre” providing a “competitive arena” for players to test their survival skills in rounds lasting 20 minutes.
“I asked a small, talented team to come up with their dream game and gave them the autonomy to build it,” said Michael McMain, Founder and CEO of Xaviant. “The Culling is the result of that effort. It has been the highlight of my career!”
The Culling will be coming to Steam Early Access on 8 March.
