Cyanide Releases New Game Of Thrones Images

It may have been seven months since Cyanide showed us anything from their videogame adaptation of A Game Of Thrones, but that’s still more progress than George R R Martin has made on the next book in the series.
Luckily for Westeros fans, HBO’s screen serial version will be starting in the next couple of months.
In the meantime, have a look at these two screenshots, which suggest that the game will be taking a top-down strategy approach to the material (at least, in part.) The prominence of the dragon in one of the images may seem a little worrying, given that their importance in the book series has yet to be realised, but the title will apparently let us “Live the origins of the A Song of Ice and Fire saga through more than 1000 years of History, and take part in Westeros’ founding events.” So that explains the beastie.
A Game Of Thrones: Genesis will be released on the PC, this summer.
