Darksiders II will bring Death to your living room

THQ has officially revealed Darksiders II after much rumour and speculation online.
In the sequel, you’ll be taking charge of Death (that’ll be handy if you need to kill some people) during events that run parallel to those of Darksiders. Apparently, Death will be travelling through dark and light realms and trying to clear the name of his brother, War (who was blamed for starting the apocalypse early in the first game).
The usual “bigger, stronger, faster” type promises are being made, with the press release claiming “[a] dramatically larger world, full weapon and armour upgrade systems as well as bigger and more challenging dungeons”.
Darksiders II should be appearing on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2012. Screenshots and video are proving elusive at present, but no doubt E3 will provide some of those.
