Dawn of War III to be ‘sort of MMO-like’

Danny Bilson, THQ’s one-man publicity machine, has been dropping a few clues about the direction Relic might take with Dawn of War III.
It’s not great news if you’re adverse to online social stuff, as Bilson feels that if THQ’s Company of Heroes Online does well then DoWIII could well be “a more digital free-to-play experience with all the depth and quality of a Relic RTS.” In addition, he states that DoWIII will have “more of a global battle going on with little tactical things, sort of MMO-like.”
In fairly typical ‘THQ person says THQ-published game will be amazing’ fashion, Bilson summarised the possible structure of the title as follows: “Preserving some things that have always been great about the first two generations of [DoW], going back to 1 on some things, 2 on some things, and 3 will bring us some new things.”
Pretty vague stuff, I know, but confirmation at least that DoWIII is in the works.
