Dead Island’s ‘Bloodbath Arena’ getting separate DLC release

Early orders of Dead Island from certain retailers included a code for a ‘Bloodbath Arena’ mode, which will now also be sold as a stand-alone release.
Those who got a code with their order will still be able to redeem it when the DLC is released (scheduled for the end of this month), but anyone else who wants to pick it up will be able to do so for $10 USD.
The additional mode features four maps with waves of undead horrors to fight, plus something called a ‘brain bomb’ that no doubt serves as a freaky weapon.
‘Bloodbath Arena’ will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
