The rumours of Deus Ex: Human Defiance surfaced at the end of last month and there was some speculation that the trademark filing was for a movie.
Square has put pay to any further rumours today by announcing on their Facebook page that details will be revealed tomorrow (Monday 1 April).
Yes, the rumors are true: World’s first look at Deus Ex: Human Defiance TOMORROW!
In the official forums a further statement was posted by an Eidos/Sqaure rep announcing that is in fact a game not a movie.
Hey guys, just to confirm, this is NOT a movie – it is a game. Can’t say anything more than that right now though.
That’s all there is on the story for now but check back once more info comes from Square. However, before the champagne corks start popping, remember what day it is. Could Square/Eidos really be that cruel to their fans?
