Diablo 3 Beta now live

After weeks of waiting Diablo players get the news they’ve been waiting for.
After two or so weeks of testing with friends and family, Blizzard announced the launch of the Diablo 3 closed public beta (contradiction in terms, but that’s what it is). Gamers who opted into the Beta through Battle.Net are elligible to be selected and mails started going out an hour or so ago.
The fiery gates leading to the Burning Hells have begun to swing open, and the Diablo III beta test is officially underway. Invitations to participate in the beta test are now being delivered to the chosen heroes. As with beta tests for other Blizzard Entertainment games, the testing process for Diablo III will occur in phases.
Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime added:
“Our goal is to create the best action role-playing game experience to date, building on everything we’ve learned since the release of Diablo II and incorporating the powerful features of the new Battle.net platform. We hope players enjoy participating in the beta test and we look forward to hearing their feedback.”
If you did opt-in then keep an eye on your Battle.Net account as accounts are being flagged as we speak.
