Blizzard release the new Diablo 3 patch as part of their weekly maintenance.

The v2.1.2 patch is finally off the PTR and now on the live servers bringing a whole host of changes to the game as Season 1 starts to wind down.

It’s worth noting that Season 1 items have not migrated to non-seasonal characters which won’t happen until Season 1 finishes on 3 February. When Season 1 is over, Season 2 will start and this delay in the launch of the second season is to allow players to get used to all the changes before it begins.

There’s a lot to take in including changes to Tristram in Adventure mode, Season 2 Conquests have been added, item changes, Nephalim Rift changes, changes to social functionality and more.

The patch notes are quite extensive and it’s worth paying attention to the items section and of course the usual class changes. If you didn’t take part in the PTR testing for 2.1.2 then check the survival guide for tips.
