I’m sure most people have got over this already, but it still bothers me that DmC Devil May Cry is essentially named “Devil May Cry Devil May Cry”. That’s … just silly, surely? It’s also a bit silly that console ports to PC always seem to come out a few weeks later than the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions (terrible newsflash for publishers: console versions get pirated too).

DmC Devil May Cry is the latest to suffer this fate, available as a PC digital download (and retail in some parts of Europe) on 25 January. That’s ten days after the console release.

Still, maybe the port work of QLOC S.A. will make it worth the wait. Capcom is promising no maximum limitation on the PC framerate, so 60fps and far beyond will be open to players with solid enough machines. Control will be possible through keyboard/mouse, 360 controller and “all” third party direct input controllers.

Here’s what Capcom reckons you’ll need to get the most out of the game:
