How to unlock the Dragon’s Breath rounds in Call of Duty: Warzone

Add some literal fire power.
Call of Duty Warzone

Since Infinity Ward nerfed many weapons that were used in Call of Duty: Warzone such as the Bruen MK9, players have been in search for alternative options. It appears that shotguns have taken over Verdansk, with players trying to find the most overpowered attachments. The R9-0 is now widely used due to the Dragon’s Breath rounds. Normally to unlock a new attachment in Warzone, players must complete a challenge, and the Dragon Breath rounds are no exception.

You too can get the Dragon’s Breath rounds terrorizing Verdansk

You have probably figured out from the name that the Dragon’s Breath rounds include fire. Not only do the shotgun shells deal damage, they also burn enemy players. Fortunately, the challenge to unlock this ammo Call of Duty: Warzone is relatively easy to complete and you should be able to equip the Dragon’s Breath in no time.

Warzone Dragons Breath Rounds

Simply equip the R9-0 shotgun and gain kills when using the sliding mechanic. You will need a total of 10. In fact this can be achieved in a single match if you go about it the right way. If you own the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer, you can hop into the Shoot the Ship playlist. You will be able to complete the challenge faster on smaller maps such as Shoothouse and Shipment. If you own the free-to-play version of Warzone, your best option will be to hop into a Plunder playlist. However, the challenge only counts full kills so you will have to ensure you finish off a downed enemy. Alternately, you can take the easy option and buy a R9-0 blueprint from the items store which has the attachment already equipped.

The Dragon’s Breath round have been labelled as overpowered by Call of Duty: Warzone players. Perhaps, they will receive a nerf in the future. Until then, watch out for this lethal weapon in a close range gunfight.
