Duke Nukem Forever released

Duke Nukem Forever finally made it to retail. This is not a hoax!
All the years I have been covering games I never thought this day would arrive but after fifteen years of development and picking up numerous vapourware awards, Duke is back.
“June 10 in the UK will forever be celebrated as the day that the legendary Duke Nukem Forever went from video game folklore to Earth shattering reality,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “For 15 years fans have waited in limbo just yearning to hear those two little lovely words strung together, Now Available. Today, the acronym ‘DNF’ changes its meaning to a ‘Day to Never Forget’. I am proud to announce that the wait is finally over and that Duke Nukem Forever is truly Now Available.”
Tim dashed off at 6AM this morning to fire up his Steam copy but I have to say I’m hesitant to pay it because I don’t think it will live up to my expectations or have the same charm of the original Duke Nukem 3D which is a complete classic. I think I’ll be letting Tim handle the review for this one and with any luck I’ll be horribly wrong.
